Oh hey, broken optical drive

Apple should really just give me a new laptop at this point, as this one is a total lemon.

But I’m not going to attempt to go into lemon laws in Berlin, where there isn’t even an Apple store proper (we have Gravis, which is an authorized reseller and will do AppleCare repairs, but probably won’t replace the thing for free for me), and I’m not going to travel to Frankfurt or Hamburg or München just to try to get my computer replaced.

So it waits until I go back to America.
