Among the other things on the hard drive I just found are:

• a document saved as ‘fuck affirmative action’
• another document saved as ‘israel has issues’
• my first college admissions essay, where i likened my childhood baldspot to my determination to succeed
• a list of colleges that i applied to, sorted in order of preference by how far away from zip code 03909 they are
• some really beautiful MSPaint drawings
• an essay about Achilles’ scepter that is incredibly phallic
• something called ‘glory, destiny, and the dark side’ about the iliad which i cringed upon reading
• my senior yearbook write up (a chomsky quote and nothing else)
• essays written at age 14 while applying to prep school, which i later recycled for english assignments
• my junior year english midterm, which was written from a fucking rushdie quote
• every single one of my presidential rating charts, in which i tore each and every president to pieces (it was the start of my attempt at making a book about famous historical figures and focusing on what failures they all were)
• a whole bunch of stuff from when i was (briefly) homeschooled, in which there are hilarious notes about everything emerson attempted to teach me
• reports for every single book i never read throughout my high school career (and some i did read) - the most notable of which may be my book on still life with woodpecker in which i made up the entire book and no one ever knew
• all three of my NHS admissions essays, none of which got me into NHS because there were questions about my morals
