Berlin - Boston 17.08 - 27.08 is $455

Hopefully I won’t be on the above listed Delta flight, but after my doctor’s appointment today I’m not convinced. The doctor doesn’t seem to think there is significant growth, and wants to give it two more weeks (while putting me on blood thinners and giving me ultrasounds) to see if anything chances - otherwise, it’s surgery for me.

So now that I’ve received this devastating news (it looked like it was healing in the untrained eyes of both Jeffrey and myself), I’m going to download the episode of Entourage that aired last night and relax until Margz calls back to discuss the news. Maybe I’ll go make some lunch, too, with the brand new bright blue cast on my leg.

Oh, and PS, one of the receptionists at the doctors office kept profusely apologizing to me that they had to change me €50 for the visit (with x-rays and a brand new cast) since I don’t have insurance. The look of shock on her face when I told her that without insurance the same thing would run you €300 in America was mind blowing.
