J does this thing where he speaks loudly and deliberately in his sleep but has no recollection of the things he said once he’s awake. I have a note on my phone and a text file on my computer and random scribbles in notebooks to keep track of the utterances so I can tell him in the morning about how he demanded I get out of bed because of a spoon and other nonsensicals.
It just happened. I treasure these moments.
