at this time tomorrow...
my mom and sister will be here!
i’m so excited.
Yesterday a girl ran her bike into mine
I went over my handle bars and my left arm is twice as big as it should be. Cool!

I found it hilarious.
I woke up at 6:50 to Jeffrey asking if I would like to fly to London with him later today. By 7:00 airfare had been purchased and we had gotten tickets to Penn + Teller’s show on Saturday night.
The one thing we failed to do before booking was check the hotel situation. Jeff is on it right now at home, as the immediate results we found were a bit terrifying (only $400 a night, guys! And...
Nike, my wallet, and completely irregular sizes.
I have a really nice pair of Nike running shoes that I wear to the gym sometimes. I only wear them sometimes because they don’t properly fit me at all, and make my toes tingle and ultimately go numb. I know, I know, my fault, but I didn’t notice it when I first purchased them so woe is me.
The interesting thing is this: this morning I inspected them to see what size they were before...

!!!
Perfumes arrived!
Lady Caron is awesome and I’m wearing it right now. Teint de neige is even nicer, but as soon as I gave it to Jeff to smell, he said “I don’t like it” which is a shame. I may get the bath and shower gel, and use that, so that I have a nice powdery base smell that isn’t overpowering.
But, Lady Caron rocks.
Creepin'
Last night I was creepin’ and checking out what was in the apartment across the courtyard from us, and I’m now positive they have a reproduction of Washington Crossing the Delaware on their living room wall.
We're having ribs and shrimp delivered to our...
We were going to go bike riding and then head to dinner, but I had a bicycle mishap that took all the fun out of that plan. So instead, I’ll be chilling at home in the air conditioned living room and stream the WM on my computer while dicking around on the internet.
I’d like to thank bloombury’s for providing a way for us to have good restaurant grade food brought to our home....
We started talking about jiaozi in class and my awesome Chinese classmate, Feihu, mentioned a Chinese restaurant nearby and our entire class has decide we should go eat there after class, before the Germany-Spain game. Yum!

We also were given an orange tree
I didn’t know those were available for purchase in Berlin! This is an exciting development in the life of our apartment.
Leftovers!
Waiting for me at home right now is no less than two kilos of meatballs, four uncooked wursts, some hamburger meat, and (!!!!) an eggplant.
Unfortunately, all the cheese and käsebrötchen are gone :(
I’m going to make such an awesome lunch.
My bottle of Hypnose is almost empty. It’s been my scent for somewhere in the neighborhood of four years, and I think it will continue to be (I love it too much - and it smells too awesome on me - for me to ever give it up) but I think I want a supplemental scent. Maybe something for special occasions, etc.
This all gives me angst. I hate going perfume shopping and coming out smelling like...
We had a house warming party last night
I know, it’s weird to do such on a Monday night, but most of our friends are DJs and are out of town on the weekend, so Sunday was out of the question (it was 4th of July themed). I made Pimm’s punch and apple pie, and woke up this morning super hungover.
And now to go to school and try not to die.
I feel like such a weirdo going grocery shopping...
As I am, without a doubt, always the only person in the store. But, no lines!
Berlin will be an oven this weekend
Seriously, dudes. Today is supposed to be over 90°F.
I think a boat ride is in order.
