Oh hey, broken optical drive
Apple should really just give me a new laptop at this point, as this one is a total lemon.
But I’m not going to attempt to go into lemon laws in Berlin, where there isn’t even an Apple store proper (we have Gravis, which is an authorized reseller and will do AppleCare repairs, but probably won’t replace the thing for free for me), and I’m not going to travel to Frankfurt...

There’s an account that appears to have been opened in my name when I was 9 years old. A credit card with a $14,000 limit. It was closed in October 2008, and doesn’t seem to be hurting me in anyway, but this was not an account opened by me, nor anyone in my family in my name.

But it’s just finally becoming warm enough that I’ve looked at the lineup. The screen is five blocks away from here, and they play movies every night all summer long, including some movies I’ve been dying to see - Berlin Calling and Neukölln Unlimited - and some old favorites - like The Big Lebowski. SOMEHOW, ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL THIS MORNING, A ROCK OR SOMETHING ELSE VERY SMALL MANAGED TO GET INTO THE KEYHOLE ON MY BIKE LOCK AND NOW I CANNOT UNLOCK IT FROM IT’S HOLDER IN ORDER TO LOCK IT UP AT SCHOOL.
Of course this would happen to me. Guess I need to go to the bike store today instead of tomorrow.

Really glad I only spent something like 8 bucks (as opposed to the $50 something it retailed for) on my charm bracelet, as it turned my wrist green.
