My computer charger died. Again. I got this one last year! Do they have like a one-year lifespan or something?
I don’t really have $80 for a new computer charger. I’d rather spend that money on something else.
Every time I’ve had a charger die, I’ve brought it to the Apple Store and they’ve replaced it- no questions asked. As long as you haven’t abused...

I just learned the name of my favorite chicken döner stand. How did I not know about this webpage before?
I’m adorable and I made a video for my family. I also am working on making my wordpress not suck. word.

I just realized that with it being Thanksgiving and all, I’ve been on Tumblr for over a year. (I joined before I got fired and sent home on Thanksgiving in 2008, which is the only reason I have any idea that it’s been an entire year. My life is moving fast.)
all i want to do is be able to post this video so that my family can see me on thanksgiving but vimeo is being all ‘lol no wai’ and i’m :(
I'm a sleepy head
It’s 20h15 and I pretty much just woke up (oops!). This afternoon, after I got out of class, I headed to the Turkish market and bought a bunch of blue cheese and stuffed olives (because they’re awesome) and a vegetable peeler and I think that’s all. Then it was off to Galeria Kaufhof am Alex to get new SodaClub mixes and wurst and wasabikäse and bright pink plastic plates as well...
Sometimes I just eat raw garlic, and I had four raw garlic cloves. It just seems...

If you're in Boston or Portsmouth, go to The... →
I would if I hadn’t moved to Berlin. The Portsmouth location is my home base when I’m in America and if they go under (especially if they go under between now and Christmas, when I’m going to bring Jeff) I’ll be incredibly sad.
Seriously, you need to go.
I'm really excited for Christmas and Detroit
:) Really excited

God dammit. I don’t want to put off my Russian dumplings for another day.
I wish I were hungry because I'm thinking about...
But alas, they must wait.
Some moments are really private and intimate and you want to shout all about them and this incredible thing you possess with another person but even if you could somehow put it into words, somehow express exactly what you feel and what has happened and how incredible things are, it’s no one else’s business, anyway, because this thing you have is so special and should only be shared...

German study finds that babies cry in accents →
sabine:
The German babies cried with a falling intonation, while the French babies wailed with rising tones – mirroring the different intonation patterns of each language, the researchers found.
Babies are neat!
Just the other day I noted that you can tell I’m an American when I laugh / you can tell Germans are German when they laugh. And now The Local shares this tidbit. Pretty cool.
I have to wake up at five am
To go out to Zehlendorf to retake the SAT at JFK. In order to get there on time, I need to get onto public transit at 5:52 in the morning. That means over an hour and a half on the train.
I’m officially going on the record as saying that I hate this s-bahn monstrosity that’s going on. Get it together, Deutsche Bahn.
Remember when I lived in America and had a car and was able to leave...
Also, I'm fucking adorable

Tomorrow, I’m going back to buy boots and gloves and corn on the cob and maybe a basil plant?
I unapologetically love Penny Markt.
I just bought so much tastiness - mozzarella and gulash beef and brussel sprouts and 4kg of potato (seriously guys - almost 9 pounds of potato for €1.29) and some of the best cheese ever and a whole bunch of other stuff (including cucumbers and lettuce) and now my body is going to be like “woah, we haven’t had vegetables in FOREVER” and it will be awesome. Had I bought the same...

Killin it as usual. Watch/listen to the whole thing, but especially at 0:41:13 when he slays organic food, Starbucks, Ethos water & consumption as relief of social responsibility.
